Analysis of Student Interest in Mathematics Learning through the fifth grade animation media at SDK Citra Bangsa, Kupang city.
Abstract
This study aims to see: 1) Knowing the use of animation media for fifth grade students at Citra Bangsa Christian Elementary School, Kupang City, 2) Knowing the interest in learning mathematics of fifth grade students at Citra Bangsa Christian Elementary School Kupang City, this study consisted of 23 students. person. This research uses this type of research is descriptive qualitative in class V B students at SD Kristen Citra Bangsa Kota. Based on the results of the research, it can show that the students' interest in learning mathematics with the volume material of cubes and blocks of students is good and increasing. In terms of learning mathematics, students are serious, diligent, always happy. The use of animation media carried out by the teacher as a learning medium for the volume of cubes and blocks, the teacher uses animation media that is made by themselves based on the material that the teacher wrote and drawn in the form of videos with sizes according to needs that can make it easier for students to understand the material who teaches. The use of animation media which is applied as a teacher's effort to develop students' mathematics.
