ABSTRAK
Media puzzle adalah jenis permainan yang dapat merangsang kemampuan logika anak, yang dimainkan dengan cara memasang kembali kepingan puzzle menjadi bentuk yang utuh.
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaan media puzzle dalam meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada tema pahlawanku subtema pahlawanku kebangaanku di Kelas IVB SD Inpres Bertingkat Oebobo 2 Kota Kupang.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Objek yang diteliti adalah siswa kelas IVB SD Inpres Bertingkat Oebobo 2 Kupang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi, wawancara, studi dokemen dan metode pengumpulan data lainnya. Data dianalisis dengan cara pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, penyimpulan dan verifikasi.
Hasil penelitian di lapangan menunjukan bahwa Penggunaan media puzzle dalam proses pembelajaran IPS di kelas IVB Sekolah Dasar Inpres Bertingkat Oebobo 2 Kupang sangat menarik siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran IPS, Guru melibatkan siswa secara langsung dalam kegitan pembelajaran sehingga siswa aktif dan tidak bosan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar.Dalam pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan media puzzle dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat pada presentase indikator minat belajar siswa yang sudah lebih meningkat.
ABSTRACT
Media puzzle is a type of game that can stimulate the logic ability of children, which is played by replacing the puzzle pieces into a complete shape.
The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the use of puzzle media in increasing student interest in the theme of my hero, my hero subtheme, my pride in Class IVB SD Inpres Oebobo 2 Level, Kupang City.
The research method used is qualitative research with a case study method. The object under study was students of class IVB SD Inpres Oebobo 2 Kupang. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentary studies and other data collection methods. Data were analyzed by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, inference and verification.
The results of the research in the field show that the use of puzzle media in the social studies learning process in class IVB of the Oebobo 2 Kupang Inpres Elementary School is very interesting for students to take social studies lessons, the teacher directly engages students in learning activities so students are active and not bored in teaching and learning activities. In social studies learning by using puzzle media can increase student learning interest. This can be seen in the percentage of indicators of student interest in learning that has been further increased
