Abstrak
Kemampuan berbicara dalam bahasa Inggris merupakan salah satu tujuan utama dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris di SMA sebagaimana dicantumkan dalam Kemendikbud ( 2014. Di SMA Negeri 10 Padang masih terdapat siswa yang kurang percaya diri atau kurang berani untuk berbicara bahasa Inggris di depan umum. Sehingga solusi yang diberikan ileh tim pengabdian mengimplemtasikan Group discussion technique dengan metode Collaborative learning dengan menggunakan Video pembelajaran sebagai bentuk pembelajaran berbasis IT untuk meningkatakan keberanian siswa berbicara bahasa Inggris.
Abstract
The ability to speak English is one of the main goals in learning English in high school as stated in the Ministry of Education and Culture (2014 ) At SMA Negeri 10 Padang , some of students still have lack confidence or lack encouragement to speak English in public. So the solution given by the service team is the implementation of Group discussion technique with the Collaborative learning method by using video learning as a form of IT-based learning to increase students' courage or self confidence to speak English
