PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS III SDK HAREWE PADA MATERI OPERASI PERKALIAN DAN PEMBAGIAN MELALUI PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL

Abstract
Abstract. Education is the spearhead for changing a human being to be better in terms of character, knowledge so that humans are able to improve their quality to become more qualified. This is sometimes realized by the role of a teacher to improve every learning tool that is owned so that every learning achievement is not achieved well. In this research, I found an obstacle in the field where teachers are always monotonous in every lesson, as a result, they make students as pawns to follow what is there without changing their learning style patterns, always demanding to take notes and listen. Therefore, in this research I provide a little touch of the newest method at SDK Harawe with the discussion and coercion method. I carried out this activity with grade III elementary school students with a total of 20 students. In each cycle different actions were given. In my cycle I use the same method of discussion, namely group and coercion, the teacher does not guide but only gives direction from the teacher's place. The results obtained were only 50% of students who passed, with observation results showing that students were less able to understand each direction of the material. However, in cycle II I carried out an evaluation by changing the media using a stick and a water pipette to count. The teacher provides examples and directly guides each group to provide direction in calculating, the results obtained by students are better able to understand the material provided. From the results of the data, 80% of students completed grade III elementary school mathematics subjects and observations showed that all students understood the material provided.
Abstrak. Pendidikan menjadi tombak untuk mengubah seseorang manusia untuk menjadi lebih baik segi krakter, pengetahuan agar manusia mampu meningkatkan kualitas dirinya menjadi lebih berkualitas. Hal ini kadang disadari oleh peran seorang guru untuk memperbaiki setiap perangkat pembelajaran yang dimiliki sehingga setiap capaian pembelajaran tidak tercapai dengan baik. Dalam penelitian ini saya menemukan sebuah kendala di lapangan yang mana bapa ibu guru selalu monoton dalam setiap pembelajaran akibatnya menjadikan siswa sebagai pion untuk mengikuti apa yang ada tanpa mengubah pola gaya belajar mereka, selalu dituntut mencatat dan mendengarkan. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini saya memberikan sedikit sentuhan metode yang terbaru di SDK Harawe dengan metode diskusi dan demonstrasi. Kegiatan ini saya lakukan pada siswa kelas III SD dengan jumlah siswa 20. Dalam setiap siklus diberikan perlakukan yang berbeda. Pada siklus I mengunakan metode yang sama yaitu diskusi kelompok dan demonstrasi, guru tidak membimbing tapi hanya memberikan arahakan dari tempat guru. Hasil yang didapatkan Cuma 50% siswa yang lulus dengan hasil observasi menunjukan kurangnya mampu siswa memahami setiap arahan materi. Namun dalam siklus II saya melakukan evaluasi dengan mengubah media menggunakan lidi dan pipet akua untuk menghitung. Guru memberikan contoh dan langsung membimbing setiap kelompok untuk memberikan arahan dalam menghitung, hasil yang didapatkan siswa lebih mampu memahami dengan baik materi yang diberikan. Dari hasil data 80% siswa tuntas matapelajaran matematika kelas III SD dan observasi menunjukan semua siswa paham dengan materi yang diberikan.
