Abstrak
Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk (1) meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam menulis karya tulis ilmiah secara sistematis, (2) memfasilitasi guru dengan strategi yang sesuai dalam mempublikasikan tulisan/ artikel di jurnal. Metode ceramah dilaksanakan untuk menyampaikan tentang penulisan karya ilmiah dan tata cara penerbitan karya ilmiah dalam jurnal sedangkan metode praktik adalah memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta untuk berlatih menulis karya ilmiah. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini mampu meningkatkan pemahaman para guru SMK Kesehatan Dharmabakti Nusantara mengenai strategi menyusun karya ilmiah dengan benar dan kemudian mendorong mereka untuk mengirimkan artikel tersebut ke jurnal. Hasilnya, profesionalisme guru juga dapat ditingkatkan serta pengembangan kualitas pendidikan yang lebih baik.
Abstract
The purposes of this activity is (1) to increase insight and understanding the teachers in writing scientific articles systematically; (2) to facilitate the teachers with proper strategies to publish articles in journal. The lecture method is implemented to convey about writing scientific papers and procedures for publishing scientific papers in journals while the practical method is to provide opportunities for participants to practice writing scientific papers. Through this community service activity, it is able to increase the understanding of SMK Kesehatan Dharmabakti Nusantara teachers regarding strategies for compiling scientific papers correctly and then encourage them to send the articles to journals. As the result, the teachers’ professionalism can be also improved as well as the better development of education quality.
