Abstract
There is an Open Source Library Management Application called SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System), developed by SDC (Senayan Developers Community). SLiMS is one of the library automation systems that can perform library management processing activities such as OPAC/Online Public Access Catalog, Bibliography, Circulation services, Membership Management, Reporting and Control of serial publications automatically. Citra Bangsa University is one of the universities in Province East Nusa Tenggara which is growing towards a Digital Campus. The use of information systems is emphasized in several education managements, including library management. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method which in this study reviews the use of SliMS as an E-library at Citra Bangsa University.
Abstrak
Terdapat sebuah aplikasi Open Source Manajemen Perpustakaan yang dinamakan SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System), dikembangkan oleh SDC (Senayan Developers Community). Aplikasi SLiMS ini merupakan salah satu sistem automasi perpustakaan yang dapat melakukan kegiatan pengolahan manajemen perpustakaan seperti penelusuran OPAC/ Online Public Accses Catalog, bibliografi, layanan sirkulasi, manajemen keanggotaan, pelaporan dan kendali terbitan berseri secara otomatisasi. Universitas Citra Bangsa adalah salah satu Perguruan Tinggi di Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur yang semakin berkembang menuju Kampus Digital. Penggunaan sistem informasi ditekankan dalam beberapa manajemen perguruan tinggi termasuk di dalamnya adalah manajemen perpustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kualitatif Deskriptif dimana dalam penelitian ini mengulas tentang pemanfaatan SliMS sebagai E-library di Universitas Citra Bangsa.
