HINEF Journal Copyright Policy

A. Copyright Ownership

Authors who publish in HINEF: Jurnal Rumpun Ilmu Pendidikan retain the copyright of their work. Articles are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), which permits unrestricted use, distribution, and reproduction in any medium, provided the original author and source are credited.

By submitting their work to HINEF, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish the article and to identify HINEF as the original publisher.

B. User Rights

Under the CC BY 4.0 license, users are free to:

1. Share – copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format

2. Adapt – remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use

3. Requirement – appropriate credit must be given to the author(s) and the journal, with a link to the license, and indication of any changes made.

C. Author Responsibilities

Authors must ensure that:

1. The submitted work is original and authored by them.

2. The manuscript has not been published elsewhere and is not under review by another publication.

3. All third-party material (e.g., images, tables, figures) included in the manuscript is properly credited and permission has been obtained, if required.

4. The article complies with ethical standards and copyright regulations.

D. Infringement and Investigation

If HINEF receives a valid complaint or notification regarding copyright infringement, an investigation will be conducted. If infringement is confirmed, the journal may take appropriate actions, including removal or retraction of the article.

E. Permissions for Third-Party Content

Authors are solely responsible for obtaining permission from copyright holders for the reproduction of any third-party content in their manuscript. This includes, but is not limited to:

1. Images

2. Graphs

3. Tables

4. Charts

5. Excerpts of copyrighted text

F. Commercial Use

While articles are published under CC BY 4.0 which permits commercial use, any commercial use of content from HINEF must include proper attribution. In certain cases, prior written consent from the author(s) may be required.
