Digital Archiving Policy
LECTURE is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published articles. To ensure digital content remains secure, accessible, and recoverable in the event of data loss or system failure, the journal has adopted the following archiving strategies:
Institutional Repository Archiving
All published articles are archived and regularly backed up in the Institutional Repository of Universitas Citra Bangsa, which ensures long-term storage and open access to scholarly content.
National Repository Integration (Garuda and Onesearch)
LECTURE is in the process of being indexed and archived through:
-
Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital) – Indonesia’s national academic repository
-
ONESearch (Indonesia National Library Digital Service) – to support broader national-level archiving
OJS LOCKSS and CLOCKSS Compatibility
The journal’s website, powered by the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, supports integration with:
-
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe)
-
CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS)
These systems preserve digital content by storing it in distributed library networks and allow recovery if the journal is no longer available online.
Self-Archiving by Authors
Authors are encouraged to deposit copies of their published articles in:
-
Institutional repositories
-
Personal websites
-
Disciplinary repositories such as Academia.edu, ResearchGate, etc.
Authors may archive:
-
Submitted version (pre-print)
-
Accepted version (post-print)
-
Published version (publisher’s PDF)
provided proper citation to the original publication in LECTURE is given.
Backup and Data Protection
LECTURE performs regular full-site backups to ensure restoration in case of technical failure or data corruption. Backups include all articles, metadata, and user records.
