Archiving Policy

Caring & Sharing Nursing Journal (CSNJ) is committed to ensuring the long-term availability, integrity, and preservation of all published content. This archiving policy describes how CSNJ preserves and provides continued access to its journal content.

1) Preservation and Archiving Strategy

CSNJ uses the following digital preservation and archiving method(s):

CSNJ preserves journal content through LOCKSS/CLOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) to ensure permanent archiving and restoration in case of data loss.

2) Content Preserved

The archiving strategy covers:

  • published articles (PDF/HTML, if available)

  • article metadata (title, authors, abstract, keywords, references)

  • journal issues and tables of contents

  • supplementary files (when published)

3) Access and Availability

Archived content remains accessible through the CSNJ website and, where applicable, via the chosen preservation network/repository. If the journal website is temporarily unavailable, preserved content can be restored or accessed via the preservation provider/repository according to its procedures.

4) Policy Updates

This archiving policy may be updated as CSNJ improves its digital preservation strategy. Any changes will be published on the journal website.
