For Authors

Welcome to the For Authors page of Caring & Sharing Nursing Journal (CSNJ). This page provides essential information for authors who wish to submit manuscripts to CSNJ.

1) Before You Submit

Please ensure your manuscript:

  • fits the Aims & Scope of CSNJ (nursing and related health sciences)

  • follows the CSNJ Article Template

  • includes English title, abstract, and keywords

  • includes required ethical statements (ethics approval and informed consent where applicable)

  • includes Conflict of Interest and Funding statements

  • uses the required reference style: [APA 7th / Vancouver]

2) What CSNJ Publishes

CSNJ welcomes:

  • Original Research Articles

  • Systematic/Scoping Reviews

  • Short Reports
    (Additional article types may be considered as stated in the Author Guidelines.)

3) Submission Files (Recommended)

Prepare the following files before starting submission:

  • Manuscript file in CSNJ template (editable format)

  • Figures/tables (if separate files are required)

  • Cover Letter (recommended)

  • Statement of Originality (required)

  • Ethics approval document (if applicable)

4) How to Submit (OJS)

Submit your manuscript via the online system:

  1. Register/Login

  2. Start a New Submission

  3. Complete metadata (title, abstract, keywords, author details, affiliations)

  4. Upload manuscript and supplementary files

  5. Confirm submission

5) Peer Review and Editorial Decision

CSNJ applies double-blind peer review and assigns at least two independent reviewers for manuscripts that pass initial editorial screening. Decisions include Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject. Authors are expected to provide a point-by-point response when submitting revisions.

6) Similarity Screening (Plagiarism Checker X)

All submissions may be screened using Plagiarism Checker X during initial assessment and, when necessary, again prior to publication. Similarity results are evaluated contextually by the editors.

7) Open Access, Copyright, and License

CSNJ provides immediate open access to published articles. Authors retain copyright and articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license.

8) Author Fees (APC)

Submission fee: IDR 0
Publication fee (APC): IDR 0
CSNJ does not charge fast-track fees, page charges, or other publication-related fees.
