Copyright and Permissions
1) Copyright Ownership
Authors who publish in Caring & Sharing Nursing Journal (CSNJ) retain copyright of their work.
2) Right of First Publication
By submitting and publishing in CSNJ, authors grant the journal the right of first publication and the right to publish, reproduce, and distribute the article as part of the journal issue and archives in all formats (online and/or print).
3) Open Access License (CC BY 4.0)
All articles published in CSNJ are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
Under CC BY 4.0, users may share and adapt the material for any purpose, including commercial use, provided that:

appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and CSNJ,
-
a link to the license is provided, and
-
changes (if any) are indicated.
4) Permissions for Third-Party Content
If a manuscript includes third-party copyrighted materials (e.g., figures, tables, photos, instruments, or substantial text excerpts), authors must:

obtain written permission from the copyright holder prior to publication (unless the material is clearly in the public domain or licensed for reuse), and
-
provide accurate credit lines and source citations in the manuscript.
CSNJ may request permission documentation during editorial processing. Manuscripts may be delayed or returned if permissions are incomplete.
5) Author Reuse and Self-Archiving
Authors are permitted and encouraged to:

deposit the published article (or accepted manuscript, if applicable) in institutional repositories,
-
share the work on personal or institutional websites,
-
distribute the article for teaching and scholarly communication,
as long as the original publication in CSNJ is properly cited and the CC BY 4.0 license is indicated.
6) Attribution Requirements (How to Cite/Re-use Properly)
Any reuse should include:

full bibliographic citation of the original article,
-
the journal name (Caring & Sharing Nursing Journal / CSNJ),
-
DOI/URL (if available), and
-
the statement “Licensed under CC BY 4.0”.
