Article Template

The Journal of Innovative Technologies in Learning and Education (J-ITLE) provides a standardized article template to assist authors in preparing manuscripts for submission. Authors are required to use the official template to ensure consistency in structure, formatting, citation style, and presentation throughout the review and publication process.

The template is provided in Microsoft Word format and should be used as the main file for manuscript preparation and submission.

Template Highlights

The J-ITLE article template includes the following main formatting requirements:

  • Title: Times New Roman, 16 pt, bold, centered, uppercase.
  • Authors and Affiliations: Times New Roman, 12 pt, regular, centered. Complete author names, affiliations, countries, and email addresses must be provided.
  • Abstract: Times New Roman, 12 pt, single spacing, 150–250 words. The abstract should summarize the research objectives, methods, key findings, and conclusions in one paragraph.
  • Keywords: Times New Roman, 12 pt, italic, 4–6 keywords separated by commas.
  • Main Text: Times New Roman, 12 pt, regular, 1.15 line spacing, fully justified.
  • Margins: 1 inch or 2.54 cm on all sides.
  • Tables and Figures: All tables and figures must be numbered, titled, cited in the text, and placed close to the relevant discussion.
  • References: References must follow the APA 7th edition style and include only sources cited in the manuscript.

Recommended Manuscript Structure

Authors are advised to organize their manuscripts according to the following structure:

  1. Title
  2. Author Names, Affiliations, and Email Addresses
  3. Abstract
  4. Keywords
  5. Introduction
  6. Literature Review
  7. Methodology
  8. Results
  9. Discussion
  10. Conclusion
  11. References

Depending on the type of manuscript, authors may adjust section headings where necessary. However, the manuscript should clearly present the research background, problem statement, objectives, methods, findings, discussion, conclusion, and references.

How to Use the Template

  1. Download the official J-ITLE article template from the link provided above.
  2. Write the manuscript directly in the template file or copy the manuscript content into the appropriate sections of the template.
  3. Ensure that the title, author information, abstract, keywords, main text, tables, figures, and references follow the template format.
  4. Check that all in-text citations are included in the reference list and all references are cited in the manuscript.
  5. Review the manuscript for grammar, clarity, formatting consistency, and similarity/plagiarism issues before submission.
  6. Submit the manuscript through the J-ITLE Open Journal Systems platform.

Submission Requirements

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that:

  • The manuscript is original, unpublished, and not under consideration by another journal or publisher.
  • The manuscript falls within the focus and scope of J-ITLE.
  • The manuscript follows the official J-ITLE article template.
  • The manuscript follows APA 7th edition citation and reference style.
  • All authors’ names, affiliations, countries, and email addresses are complete and accurate.
  • Funding information and conflict of interest statements are provided where applicable.
  • Ethical approval, research permission, or informed consent is provided where required.
  • The manuscript has been checked for plagiarism or similarity before submission.

Author Fees

J-ITLE does not charge article submission fees, article processing charges, publication fees, peer-review fees, editorial processing fees, copyediting fees, layout editing fees, proofreading fees, DOI registration fees, hosting fees, or any other author-side charges.

All publication processes in J-ITLE are free of charge for authors.
