Article Publication Charges (APC)

The Journal of Innovative Technologies in Learning and Education (J-ITLE) is committed to promoting open access to high-quality research. To cover the costs associated with publishing, including peer review, editing, typesetting, and hosting, the journal may charge an Article Publication Charge (APC). The following details apply:

  • APC Amount: Currently, J-ITLE does not charge any Article Publication Charges (APC) for articles published. This policy ensures that authors can share their research widely without financial barriers.
  • Waivers and Discounts: If in the future an APC is introduced, waivers or discounts will be available for authors from low-income countries, as well as for high-quality submissions where funding is unavailable.
  • Payment Process: If applicable, payment of the APC will be required only after a manuscript has been accepted for publication. Payment instructions will be provided upon acceptance.

Open Access Licensing and Copyright

All articles published in J-ITLE are freely accessible to readers under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0). This license allows the following:

  • Attribution: Users must give appropriate credit to the original authors and the journal, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made.
  • Non-Commercial Use: The work may not be used for commercial purposes.
  • No Derivatives: Users cannot modify or build upon the work, ensuring the original research remains unchanged.

Upon acceptance of an article, authors agree to transfer the copyright to the Journal of Innovative Technologies in Learning and Education (J-ITLE). However, authors retain the following rights:

The advertising revenue, if any, is used solely to support the journal’s operational costs, including maintaining the open access model and ensuring that high-quality research is freely available to all.
