The Journal of Innovative Technologies in Learning and Education (J-ITLE) provides journal statistics to support transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement in scholarly publishing. Editorial and Peer Review Statistics
J-ITLE applies editorial screening and double-blind peer review to submitted manuscripts. Editorial and peer-review statistics are used internally to monitor the quality, efficiency, and transparency of the publication process.
Editorial and peer-review statistics may include:
- Number of manuscripts submitted;
- Number of manuscripts accepted;
- Number of manuscripts declined;
- Number of manuscripts returned for revision;
- Average editorial screening time;
- Average peer-review duration;
- Average time from submission to final decision;
- Average time from acceptance to publication;
- Number of active reviewers;
- Reviewer response and completion rates.
The estimated editorial and review process may take approximately 4–8 weeks or up to two months, depending on manuscript quality, reviewer availability, revision requirements, and editorial considerations.
Article-Level Usage Metrics
Article-level usage metrics may include abstract views, galley views, PDF downloads, DOI access, and other usage data available through the OJS platform or related metadata services.
These metrics are provided to help readers, authors, editors, and librarians understand article visibility and readership. They should not be interpreted as a direct measure of article quality, research impact, scholarly merit, or citation performance.
Readers may view article-level statistics, when available, on individual article pages.
Website Visitor Statistics
J-ITLE uses visitor statistics tools to monitor website visits, page views, geographic reach, and user access patterns. These statistics help the journal understand readership trends and improve website accessibility, navigation, and content visibility.
Visitor statistics are used for journal development and reporting purposes. Where possible, website usage information is processed in aggregated or anonymized form.
Visitor statistics do not influence editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, article acceptance, or publication priority.
