APLIKASI PENERAPAN AUGMENTED REALITY SEBAGAI MEDIA PENGENALAN RUMAH ADAT

Indonesia kaya akan ragam suku dan budaya. Masing – masing suku memiliki rumah adat atau tradisionalnya tersendiri karena melambangkan ciri khas kebudayaan disuatu daerah. Dengan kehadiran teknologi Augmented Reality berlandas android ini diharapkan dapat membuat para pembaca mengetahui keragaman bentuk rumah adat di Indonesia secara visual (3D) didukung dengan kuis kebudayaan dari rumah adat tersebut. Aplikasi ini memvisualisasikan 3 rumah adat di Indonesia yaitu rumah adat Lampung, Betawi dan Toraja. Augmented Reality adalah sebuah kemajuan teknologi dimana dunia fisik dan dunia digital digabungkan, dengan menggabungkan dua ataupun tiga dimensi objek benda maya kedalam waktu yang nyata (real time). Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Marker Based Tracking yaitu melakukan scan pada marker untuk menampilkan hasil visualisasi rumah adat secara 3D. Dari hasil pengujian jarak marker dan rotasi dapat disimpulkan bahwa minimal jarak agar dapat melakukan scan marker adalah 18cm dan maksimal jaraknya adalah 84cm, begitu juga dengan rotasi mulai dari 0° - 90° marker berhasil terdeteksi
