ANALISA SIKAP RESPONSIF MAHASISWA TERHADAP SIMULASI ORACLE VIRTUALBOX PADA MATAKULIAH SISTEM OPERASI

VirtualBox merupakan software pendukung yang diperlukan dalam proses instalasi dua sistem operasi dalam satu komputer. Mahasiswa perlu memperdalam pengetahuan dan memanfaatkan semua teknologi yang ada saat ini. Agar kemampuan mahasiswa dalam instalasi sistem operasi bertambah maka perlu diterapkan simulasi Oracle VirtualBox. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses penerapan simulasi VirtualBox kemudian melihat tanggapan mahasiswa terhadap hasil simulasi berbasis Virtual Machine pada mata kuliah Sistem Operasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode ex-post facto. Instrumen penelitian meliputi penerapan simulasi Virtualbox yang berkaitan dengan tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa dan hasil belajar mahasiswa, lalu data diolah dengan analisis inferensial. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioner dan tes secara online. Dalam penelitian ini variabel bebas (X) adalah penerapan VirtualBox dalam menginstal sistem operasi. Untuk variabel terikat (Y) dalam penelitian ini yaitu sikap responsif dan hasil belajar mahasiswa. Hasil kuesioner menunjukan 82,08% mahasiswa Sangat Setuju pada penggunaan VirtualBox. Kemudian hasil tes online mahasiswa tentang penggunaan VirtualBox diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar sebesar 98,18%. Berarti semua mahasiswa dikatakan puas dan berhasil dalam penggunaan software Oracle VirtualBox.
